Industry Standards
The standards and specifications listed below relate to the application and qualification of solid state spraying processes. This list is provided to identify documents that may be useful from design through procurement, manufacturing, quality control, and maintenance.
There is one standard that has been written specifically to address Cold Spray technology. The U.S. Department of Defense MIL-STD-3021, Materials Deposition, Cold Spray Standard is available for free download in PDF format from the U.S. DoD ASSIST (Acquisition Streamlining and Standardization Information System) website.
